Does Diet Eating Work

Does Diet Eating Work

Some think that one of the biggest scams ever successfully pulled on the public is diet eating. I’m sure you have seen advertisements for more diets and diet eating than you can easily remember, and have also most likely seen an article or television show telling you that they don’t work.

If you are considering diet eating your primary motivation is most likely weight loss. What if you knew that in order to lose weight, you actually need to eat more than you do?

You would probably wouldn’t believe this crazy idea, and think that it could in no way help you in your weight loss goals.

However, the fact remains that most people do need to eat more than they do in order to lose weight. The trick comes in the correct diet eating, in the right ratios of nutrients, and at the right times of day. Sound hard? It is really quite simple.

By using diet eating in a way that includes a healthy meal every 3 to 3 ½ hours, you will get your metabolism moving. If you don't eat often enough, your metabolism slows down and you don't burn through calories very quickly. When your calorie consumption is too small your body starts storing almost everything that you do eat as body fat!

So, in essence, every time you starve yourself while diet eating, you’re actually slowing down your metabolism as well as making your body more efficient at building fat.

So, bottom line…diet eating should consist of healthy eating and make sure to check with your doctor first.
